My name is Kim, my husband is David and we have been trying to start a family together since 1994.
I am not able to get pregnant naturally, so we have tried IVF, looked into Surrogacy, started the InterCountry Adoption process (but had to put that on hold due to the cost)
We are now in the process of doing a Local Adoption here in Victoria.
I breed pet and show quality fancy rats from home, but dont actually make any money from it but its ok as I've always dreamed of being a stay at home mum.
David has been in the same job since he completed year 12.
We have one very small Chihuahua male named Tiny, he is currently 8 years old and being extra small his skull still has a soft spot in as it never closed over, he also has epilepsy.
We also have a ginger male tabby kitten named Spike.
We also have a number of Fancy Pet and Show Rat.
I've dreamed of being a mother ever since I was 13 years old.
I have PCO (PolyCystic Ovaries) and only one tube which is blocked. This happened due to an ectopic pregnancy in 1992, my tube burst and I lost my daughter and nearly my own life, as well as one fallopian tube and the other became completely blocked.
I'm really hoping that we will have a family by Christmas 2008.
Kindest Regards, Kim

Hi Jacqui,
In Victoria, Traditional Surrogacy is Illegal, Gestational Surrogacy isnt but the surrogate needs to be infertile as well.
But anyway Welcome to the forum and thank you.
