We all must have other things going on in our lives rather than waiting for calls from Agencies!! What is happening for the weekend? I am off to the races tomorrow! Outfit is ready to go, just need the sun to shine and I am set About 10 of us are going together so it should be a great day, good people.....good times! Will also be going to Melbourne Cup Day. I just love races time of the year! Sunday a friend is have a BBQ lunch with a gathering of friends. They are a musical bunch, so I expect to be hearing some of the latest tunes they have created (sun is due to shine which will be a plus) Back to work Monday morning : ( Then early next week we are having a BBQ @ my best friends house after work, I haven't seen her in nearly a month as she has been away. Missing her lot's (as well as her little ones) so I can't wait for that.

How were the races, weather was a bit mediocre, no fun rugging up when you want to show up your dress!!!! Our weeekend was more like Simone's, no we don't live on a farm, but with a house and garden there is always things to do. DH built up a new wooden table chair set for our Alfresco area for the second time. The first time he ran into problems as he was missing nuts and bolts and some chairs were faulty. he called the supplier who insisted to exchange the whole lot even waht was okay and delivered a new lot and that was okay apart from one chair which DH fixed, we did not want a third set Cheers Flossyinoz

Flossy - I love Alfresco areas! We pretty much live outside in summer Races were fantastic........much bubbly was had, a little nasty @ $38 a bottle though (only Yellow!!). Looking forward to doing it all again in a few weeks. Hopefully it will be a sunnier day, but it didn't rain on Saturday so that was good enough me! A couple of BBQ's and a weekend in the garden around coming up next weekend

I can tell you I am so looking forward to summer and warmer weather. Well today is a good start with 28 degress, only shame I have to work and stay inside all day , even have a meeting during lunchbreak inside! Great you enjoyed the races. I have only been twice, once years ago with friends in the "common area" and last year by invitation of a caterer in the posh "Birdcage", food and drink all day at no cost, celebrity spotting, was brilliant, swent with a colleague. Got a photo taken with Vince Colossomo. Unfortunately this year no further invite .

Yes I am in my office looking out at the sun...........I can't complain too much I had a meeting out of the office this morning so I have had a small taste of it. I am getting out of here early today though to get some more!!
I love going to the races in Marquees. When I worked for a company that part of my roll was organising radio advertising campaigns I was invited by them, it was great! No such luck now : ( In the carpark for cup day though with VRC members which is great. You get to bring all you own food and drink. So we all pay a certain amount and 1 person organises it all......perfect (and even better because it is not me!!).
